When you are feeling over-whelmed as a Business Owner and there is a limited amount of time that you can spend on your business, here are some strategies to keep you focused and get your jobs done:
Make a list of all the tasks you need to get done. Include a priority of 1 to 3 with 1 being urgent and 3 being “you will do it when you find time”. Include a deadline for the task. This could be done in a spreadsheet or word document (show below).
Delegate tasks to others whom can do it better than you. If you don’t have anyone that can assist, consider hiring someone from a platform like Upwork. Now add another column to this list for Delegation (show below) and delegate some tasks to others. Follow the Task List and see how your productivity improves.

Take breaks when you need them. If you are feeling overwhelmed or your brain is going around in circles, go for a walk, get a coffee or tea, talk to a co-worker or do all three. This will improve your concentration and will give your body a break from sitting in one spot.
